Elevation: 4,374 ft ascent | 2,347 ft descent

     ■ Garmin damaged, no longer working — must have hit it on something
     ■ Smoke better today, clear at Onion Valley and beyond. Still noticeable in the distance
     ■ Kearsarge Pass, take two
     ■ Met Edwin on the way up, confirmed that he is done with the trail
     ■ Met Allison and Matt again a little while later
     ■ Started my way up Forester Pass
     ■ Over 4,300 ft of elevation gain 13.3 miles
     ■ Long and hard. The last mile was torture. Considered stopping short and camping solo
     ■ Met up with Jeff and Tessa, as well as a few others: Eliza/Colette (names?) and Ben (PCT solo last year)
     ■ Tramily for the wind: space saved and fended off from other groups that wanted it!
     ■ Lots of people
     ■ Saw 3H again
     ■ Beautiful sunset with crescent moon
     ■ Messaged dad via Jeff’s Garmin
     ■ Plan to meet at Tyndall Creek camp tomorrow: short day
     ■ Over 175 miles hiked!
