HOUSE REMODEL

3 years.

3 bedrooms.

2 baths.

1600+ square feet.

1 person.

I bought my first house knowing that I was going to put a whole lot of work into it. That is an understatement. 1980s house with deep knockdown texture on every wall and ceiling. Decade-old cream carpet throughout most of the house. Cheap bubbling laminate flooring in the dining area. Cracked white tile with a pink tinge. Nearly half a dozen layers of vinyl in the kitchen. There was almost no landscaping, aside from a peach tree in the front. The gates barely opened. Dogs had torn up the back yard and siding.

…but the ceiling. Tall vaulted ceilings in the entry and living area. There was potential. It took a while for it to surface, but here it is!
